Hal Betty Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 6, 2022, at the age of 92, Hal Betty of Jal, New Mexico, born in Denver, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Betty and Emilu Betty; and his sister MaryLou Burdett. He is survived by: his wife Jerry Betty; his children, Leslie Benda (Tad) and Greg Betty (Rita); his niece Emily Nutt; his nephew Jeffrey Burdett; his grandchildren, Krystal Boyle (Jason), Clayton Berryman (Casey), Sean Betty, Ryan Betty, Kevin Benda (Chandler) and Alexis Benda; and his great grandchildren, Brody, Collin, Matthew, Emily Boyle, Hudson Berryman and Blake Benda.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Mesilla Valley Hospice and/or First Presbyterian Church of Ruidoso, NM.
