He is survived by: his grandchildren, Nicole Benitez-Siddiqui, Maya Portillo and Joseph Daniel Portillo; his great grandchild Amina Siddiqui; his sibling Ernest Jaramillo; and his wives, Josephine and Sharon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
