She was predeceased by: her son Dennis "Wero" Chacon; her parents, Claro Muñoz and Jenny Muñoz; her daughter Yvette "India" Chacon; and her siblings, David Muñoz Sr. and Yvonne "Deedee" Muñoz Serrano.
She is survived by: her son Ray Chacon; her sister Stella De; her grandchildren, Ray Chacon Jr., Dymond Roberts, Nichole Resendiz and Jennifer Chacon; her great grandchildren, Lorenzo, Santino, Hezekiah Resendiz, Jazmine and Adreanna Peña; her godson Irven De; and her great-nephew Jaime Rodriguez. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
A rosary was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Infant Jesus Shrine (204 Cortez Ave, Hurley, NM 88043). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at the Santa Clara Cemetery.
