He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Rexford Kilgore and Evelyn Athea Millage Kilgore; and his siblings, Larry Kilgore, Janice and Janet Kilgore.

He is survived by: his wife SaVanne; his children, Ty Alan Kilgore of Murphysboro, TN and Rena Sue Kilgore of Hurley; his granddaughters, Brenna and Haleigh Kilgore; and his siblings, Harvey Dale Kilgore (Stella) of Elkhart, IN, Eddie Kilgore of Elkhart, IN and Linda Kilgore.
