She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Francisco Varela Gomez and Maria Ramon Gomez; her husband Albert F. Barela; her sons, David and Joe Barela; her grandson Benjamin Keith Fernandez; her children, Cyndi Barela, Patricia Barela and Albert 'Sunny Barela; and her grandchildren, Johnny Jaramillo Jr., Jesse Jaramillo, Jose Jaramillo, Robert Jaramillo, Cecilia Jaramillo, Celeste Barela, Albert Justin Fernandez, Barbari Barela and Carmen Barela. She was also cherished by 22 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
