We are sad to announce that on July 9, 2021 we had to say goodbye to William Staggs of Hobbs, New Mexico, born in Ovalo, Texas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Wiley Staggs and Alda Staggs (Harrison) of Gail, TX.. He is survived by: his wife Karen Staggs of Hobbs; his children, Kirk Staggs (Vickie Staggs) of Lubbock, TX, Taleta Smith of Lubbock, TX, Candise Weldy of Hobbs, NM, Sandra Peterson of Oklahoma and Trisha Rogers of Wilmington, NC; his siblings, Mary Lynn Williams (Kenneth Williams) and Jerry Staggs (Marilyn Staggs) of Ackerly, TX; and his brothers-in-law, Roy "Buster" Hill and Lex Hill (Stephanie Hill) of Hobbs. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to his much loved and long supported New Mexico Christian Children's Home at 1356 NM 236, Portales, NM 88130.
