It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Travis Collins of Hobbs, New Mexico, born in Burkburnett, Texas, who passed away on August 27, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Louis and Jeanette Moore Collins; his wife Betty Jane Alred; his son Michael Travis of Oklahoma City, OK; and his great grandchild Roman Matthew Rusk.

He is survived by: his children, Stephen Louis of Dallas, TX, Patrick Wayne (Susan) of Hobbs, NM and Kathryn Ann Collins of Hobbs, NM.; his grandchildren, Julie Cummings (Cory) of Andrews, TX, Cole Collins of Oklahoma City, OK, Crystal McCauley (Simon) of Napa, CA, Caitlin Gunn (Chris) of Austin, TX, Travis Collins of Hobbs, NM, Laura Brock of Hobbs, NM, Keith Collins of Hobbs, NM, Jamie Bertrand (Brennan) of Fort Worth, TX, Jacob Rusk (Jennifer) of Fort Worth, TX and Sarah Jones (Kevin) of Sweetwater, TX; and his siblings, A. J. Collins, Maureen Wright, Jesse Clyde Collins, Elizabeth Joy Collins, A. L. Collins, Nettie Joe Collins and Bobby Dale Collins.
