It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodney Ramirez of Hobbs, New Mexico, born in Odessa, Texas, who passed away on February 7, 2025, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Fabian Ramirez; his grandmother Guadalupe Garcia; and his father Arturo Martinez. He is survived by: his mother Cruz Garcia; his wife Maria Ramirez; his children, Jasmine, Nicholas and Alexis; the mother of his children Angela; his stepchildren, Michael and Alyssa; and his siblings, Arturo, Lorena Martinez, Daniel Martinez, Yvonne and Oscar Castro. He is also survived by five grandchildren and 2 grand pups.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Chapel of Hope Funerals & Cremations (3321 N Dal Paso St, Hobbs, NM 88240). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A rosary was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
