He is survived by: his wife Soledad Mendias; his children, John Robert Mendias (Maria) of Cleburne, TX and Janie Zuniga of Odessa; his child-in-law Gayland; his daughters, Jamie Myers (Eddie) of Houston, TX, Maricella Maledon (Cody) of Pecos, TX, Angelica Martinez (Roberto) of Hobbs, NM and Micaela Mendias of El Paso, TX; and his siblings, Sylvia Looper (Jim), Yvonne Looper (George), John Victor Mendias and Lisa Raifsnider (Scott). He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.
