He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Snooks" Robert Whinery and Beatrice Whinery; and his wife Shirley Whinery. He is survived by: his brother Dan Whinery; his son Laike Whinery; his grandson Josh Fulkerson; and his children, Roberta Henderson of Hobbs, NM, Pennie Fulkerson of Elgin, OK, Suzy Kirby of Cartwright, OK and Clifton Whinery of Ypsilanti, MI. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
