He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Leibel and Frances Leibel; his siblings, Larry Leibel and Jane Leibel; his nephew Patrick Leibel; and his great-nephew Jayton Moroney.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys Swisher; his children, Kenny Leibel (Melanie), Kevin Leibel and Kimberly Leibel; his siblings, Tony Leibel (Cathy), Marion Janas (Doug), Merle Leibel (Renee) and Ronnie Leibel (Joann); and his grandchildren, Shanell Houge, Alexis Johnson (Alex), Laine Houge, Ashley Leibel, Jessica Tolten, Kaia Chambers, Saharra Chambers and Jazlin Chambers. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great – nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chapel of Hope Funerals & Cremations (3321 N Dal Paso St, Hobbs, NM 88240). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Prairie Haven Memorial Park Cemetery (2201 E Stanolind Rd, Hobbs, NM 88240).
