He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Ashley and Nina Ashley (Cofield); his brother Alton Ashley; and his son Richard Carl. He is survived by: his children, Jody Ashley (Brenda) of Azle, TX., Jared Ashley (Taylor) of Evans, GA., Joshua Ashley of Newnan, GA. and Vanessa Ashley-Scheiwer (Scott) of Erie, PA.; his grandchildren, Jace, Jaden, Preston, Julian, Sydnie, Jett, Georgia and Evelyn; his great grandchildren, Jonas and Milli; his sisters, Shiela Anderson and Carlann McBroom; and his pet Bama. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
