He is survived by: his mother Pearl Casillas; his close friend Alex Lucero; his wife Bessie; his children, Yvonne Carpenter (Joe) of Hobbs, NM and Anthony Casillas (Jaclyn) of Austin, TX; his grandchildren, Christopher Carpenter (Allison McKinley) of Albuquerque, NM, Jared Carpenter of Hobbs, NM and Chanelle Scott (Qajuan); his children, Mya, Mac of Hobbs, NM, Hunter Casillas of Charleston, SC and Juliana Casillas of Austin, TX.; his siblings, Shirley Garcia of Hobbs, NM, Tina Casillas of Seymour, TX., Danny Ayala (Debra) of Lovington, NM, Cleta Reina (Pat) of San Angelo, TX, Brenda McDurmitt (Mike) of Lovington, NM, Rick Ortega (Hermila) of Lovington, NM and Cion Ortega; and also Randy Arena of Houston, TX.. He is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews, 40 great nieces and nephews, and 5 great-great nieces and nephews.
