He was predeceased by: his parents, Damas Portillo and Siria Garcia. He is survived by: his siblings, Vicenta Ontiveros, Juana Portillo, Lorenza Portillo, Patricia Portillo and Jesus Portillo. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
