He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Van Calvin Rapp and Martha Evaline Sutton Rapp; his wife Glynnis Ruth Rapp; his children, Jim Rapp (Graciela), Joel Rapp (Kim) and Brenda Sue Rapp; and his grandchildren, Leilani Rapp, Brianna Rapp (Alejandro Galindo), Trevor Rapp, Adrianna Grade and Samuel Olin Rapp.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Taylor Memorial Baptist Church or The Gideons International.
