He is survived by: his wife Letrice Jernigan of Hobbs; his daughters, Candace Jernigan-Infante (Adam) of Hobbs and LaCresha Montgomery of Alamogordo, NM; his grandson Ronnie Montgomery; and his brothers, Keith Jernigan, Rodney Jernigan of Hobbs and Riley Jernigan of Lubbock. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 3 great- grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
