With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melvin L. Pyeatt in Hobbs, New Mexico, born in Midland, Texas. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Lee Pyeatt, Sr. and Bonnie Marie Pyeatt; and his grandparents, Weaver, Mildred Weaver, John Bob Pyeatt and Katie Cooper Pyeatt.
He is survived by: his wife Sabrina; his sons, Christopher Lee Pyeatt of Hobbs and Sean Michael Pyeatt of Hobbs; his siblings, Cindy Pender (David) of The Woodlands and David Pyeatt (Jennifer) of Hobbs; his nieces, Lyndsay Kelly (Tyler) of Aledo, Jennifer Contreras (Fabian) of Hobbs and Jessica Pyeatt (Alex) of Austin; his nephew Brandon Pender of The Woodlands; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Haden Alexander, Caison Alexander, Jayden Contreras, Alexa Contreras, Mia Contreras, Jax Beckett, Easton Blair, Rylie Kelly, Jesse Kelly and Hunter Kelly.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Hope Funerals & Cremations (3321 N Dal Paso St, Hobbs, NM 88240). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Prairie Haven Memorial Park Cemetery (2201 E Stanolind Rd, Hobbs, NM 88240).
