She was predeceased by: her parents, Pedro Muñiz and Romana Muñiz; and her siblings, Jose Paz Muñiz, Paula Galindo, Manuela Gonzalez, Guadalupe Muñiz and Lazara Quintana.
She is survived by: her husband Concepcion Acosta; and her children, Cynthia Ainsworth (Alexis), Jorge Acosta, Rosario Quiroz (Erik), Adriana Acosta and Laura Acosta Lopez (Tai). She is also survived by Fifteen grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Chapel of Hope Funerals & Cremations (3321 N Dal Paso St, Hobbs, NM 88240). A rosary was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (914 S Selman St, Hobbs, NM 88240). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Prairie Haven Memorial Park Cemetery (2201 E Stanolind Rd, Hobbs, NM 88240).
