Margaret South Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret South of Hobbs, New Mexico, born in Marlow, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 19, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Emmett; her husband Billy Van South; her daughter Teri Ann South Payne; her parents-in-law, John and Estelle South; her brother-in-law Ronnie Teague; her children, Seborn, Tracy South and Kyle Payne; her grandchildren, Kristen Wood (Colt), Colton South (Alisha) and Shelby Meier (Will); her great grandchildren, Lucy and Hudson Wood; her siblings-in-law, Rodney South (Michaelyne) and Teresa Teague; and her friends, Patty and Troy Robinson. She was also cherished by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Together they established a strong foundation in church, co-teaching Sunday School for over twenty years.
