With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Jean Herd of Hobbs, New Mexico, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on June 26, 2023 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Margaret Jean Herd to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Sharp and Edith Sharp; her husband George Herd; her daughter Kim Herd; and her brother Tom Sharp.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Dodson (JP) of Odessa, TX and Carrie Spriggs (Mark) of Wattle Glen, Australia; and her grandchildren, Maggie and Brady Spriggs. She is also survived by neighbors, numerous friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
