Lynn Simmons Obituary
Lynn Milner Simmons, 60, of Hobbs, New Mexico, died December 14, 2008, at her home. She was born October 16, 1948. She married Lawrence Douglas Simmons on March 7, 1995, in Las Vegas, Nevada.Survivors include her sister-in-law, Theda Risshy;kus of San Angelo, Texas Joyce Light of Lubbock Texas, and Frances Chidester of Kilgore, Texas; a brother in-law, Jack Simmons of Taos, New Mexico; and her adopted family, Diane Bowyer of Hobbs, New Mexico, Curtis and Tina Angel, Amanda Angel, Curtis Angel Jr. and Tiffany Angel, all of Hobbs, New Mexico. She was a member of the Moose, VFW, American Legion and Eagles Auxiliary. She was a teacher for the Hobbs Schools in 1996.Mrs. Simmons had a numemerous amount of friends and was loved dearly. She will be missed by many. Her husband, Lawrence Douglas Larry Simmons, preceded her in death on January 21, 2006.
