We are sad to announce that on June 29, 2018, at the age of 89, Leward W. Sparks (Hobbs, New Mexico) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Karyl Burnam (Kim Burnam); and his siblings, Delora Hayes, Verbon Sparks and Lawrence Sparks. He is survived by: his wife Jane Sparks; his children, Cindy (Sam Sample) of Albuquerque and Mark Sparks (Dana) of Odessa, TX; his grandchildren, Kana (Kenny McPeters), Sandi (John Wilson), Su-Zette Sparks, Scott Sample (Cara), Kollin Burnam, Kaycee (John Pound), Ian Hancox (Michelle), Maegan Rodgers, Evan Rodgers and Lace; his great grandchildren, Paul White, Lilly Sample, Denam Sample, Karter Burnam, Koltin Burnam, Ayden Abrams, Dakota Pound, Courtney Schiel and Jace Schiel; and also Lisa (Eddie Rodgers) of Wylie Texas.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to 1st Christian Church in his memory.
