She was predeceased by: her parents, Betty Owens Adams and Carl Owens; her stepfather LJ Adams; and her siblings, Chester Brooks, Coby Brooks, Kathy Williams and Barbara LeClear.
She is survived by: her husband Dennis Shearer; her children, Krista Butler (Steve), Kevin Shearer (Alice) and Amber Shearer; her grandchildren, Chris Butler, Suukiie Butler, Jaxson Butler, Braven Morris, Michael Garrett, Allyssa Garrett, Caleb Shearer (Salaisy), Jasmine Shearer (Anthony Pacheco) and Gracelyn Simpkins; her great grandchildren, Gael Pacheco and Amaia Shearer; and her brother Bill Brooks. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
