She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Bailey Hancock and Tommye G. Montgomery Hancock (Henry); her stepson Joe Tew; and her grandson Jonathan D. Lee. She is survived by: her husband Henry L. Pate; her siblings, Joe K. (Marie) of San Antonio, TX and Tommye Markham of Alvord, TX; her children, Trevor McDermott (Diane Villegas) of Albuquerque, NM. and Shelley Lee (Darin) of Hobbs, NM; her stepdaughters, Angel West (Ellis) of Pine Mtn, GA and Kim Baker (Britt) of Columbus, GA; and her brother-in-law Alton Pate (Linda). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, and numerous honorary children and grandchildren.
