With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Lastell McPherson of Hobbs, New Mexico, born in Lovington, New Mexico, who passed away on June 30, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Isaac and Alice Jane Sumruld (Langlitz); her children, Sandra Dee McPherson and Tommy Devon McPherson Jr.; and her siblings, George Wayne Sumruld and Vivian Hope Messenger.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Lance McPherson, Christie Suzanne White and Kimberly Michelle McPherson; and her sister Rosa Lee Thornhill. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
