He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernestina Cantu and Manuel Cantu; his siblings, Sylvia (Fabian Porras), Rosa (Daniel Loera), Natalie Cantu, Minerva (Juan Manuel Guajardo), Lori (Dago Quiroz), Richard Lopez, Rene Cantu (Sylvia) and Robert Cantu; his children, Daniel "Cabezon" Cantu, Steven "Hershey" Cantu and Eileen Cantu; his grandchildren, Miriah Soliz (Julius), Juan Soliz (Brenda) and Christian Soliz; his great grandchildren, Lexy Heredia, Chapo Soliz, Lito Soliz and Maciel; his significant other Terry Cantu; his daughter Ana Alicia Cantu; and his grandparents, Manuel, Petra Cantu, Ernesto and Irene Lopez.
