Joel Castillo Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joel Castillo of Hobbs, New Mexico, who passed away on August 25, 2020, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vicente Castillo and Ofelia Robles; his wife Maria E. Contreras; his children, Joel Castillo, Jr. (Cathy), Luz Elena Castillo (Lamar Turner), Raquel Castillo (Samuel), Rebecca Castillo (Rene Vasquez) and Ruth Salazar (Omar); his sisters, Manuela and Maria Esther Castillo; and his grandchildren, Nathan Hernandez, Nayla Hernandez, Amara Elena Turner, Galilea Carmi, Ezra Joel Castillo, Kiana Anahi, Rene Asher and Kamila Salazar.
