Jimmie Carson Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jimmie Carson (Hobbs, New Mexico), born in Lubbock, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 17, 2025 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Dow "Ike" Gregory and Joe Pearl Gregory. She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Jones (Jun), Kelly Penny (Jerry) and Kandy Tyson (Ron); her grandchildren, Kourtney, Zack, Dante Jones, Hogan, Riley, Alexis, Dalton Penny, Jacob and Blake Lawson; her sister Tibitha Rhodes (Ricky); her niece Donda Murph; and her siblings, Joe, Izak Gregory and Vickie Mahan. She is also survived by her loved ones, including her surviving family members: her son and daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to The Brain and Behavior Research Foundation in her honor.
