She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie V. Brooks and Margene Young Brooks (Young); and her siblings, Geneva L. Dixon, Dorothy Swanson, Betsy Brooks, Wilford Dixon, Jr., Claud Brooks and Frankie Joe Brooks.
She is survived by: her brothers, Tommy Brooks (Brenda) of Albuquerque, NM and Jessie Brooks; her nieces, Shanin Brooks of Westerville, OH and Aja N. Brooks (Johnny Osborn); her niece Jana R. Brooks (Rafael Vigil) of Albuquerque, NM; her sister-in-law Gail Brooks of Trotwood, OH; her friend Ramona Haynes; and also Emerson Osborn of Albuquerque, NM.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Chapel of Hope Funerals & Cremations (3321 N Dal Paso St, Hobbs, NM 88240). A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Memory Gardens Cemetery (2909 N Dal Paso St, Hobbs, NM 88240).
