James Wheeler Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Wheeler of Hobbs, New Mexico, born in Morrison, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 3, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sons, Butch and Tim; and his great grandchild Kassidy Buford. He is survived by: his wife Wanda; his granddaughter Gwen; his daughter Gwen Singleterry (Alan); his daughters-in-law, Beth Wheeler and Cheryl Wheeler; his grandchildren, April, Robby Boggs, Justin Cody Wheeler, Kara Wheeler, Jennifer, Cody Buford and Anthony Singleterry; and his great grandchildren, Trenaty Lewis, Juliya, Hunter Boggs, Jaiden, Eastyn Buford, Chantelle and Justin Cody Wheeler, Jr..

In lieu of flowers the family would like contributions be made to Wounded Warriors Project in his honor.
