It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Robert Pennell of Hobbs, New Mexico, born in Tom Bean, Texas, who passed away on June 14, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Pennell and Leta Pennell (Odle); and his siblings, John Pennell and Jean Blanton. He is survived by: his children, Bobby Pennell (Judy) of Hobbs and Gina Hood (Ray) of Seguin; and his sister Pauline Walker (Teresa Crawford Pennell) of Oklahoma. He is also survived by niece, and Johnny Pennell, a nephew, both from Oklahoma; 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; many more nieces and nephews.
