He was predeceased by: his mother Elena Alvarado; and his sisters, Leticia Alvarado and Elva Morales. He is survived by: his father Rafael Alvarado; his wife Barbara Cirilo; and his children, Lucia Hernandez, Fernando Alvarado, Maria Elena Alvarado, Angela Alvarado, Oscar Alvarado, Cheyanne Lozoya and Lorenzo Villarreal. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and 10 siblings.
