She was predeceased by: her parents, Salvador Garcia and Bertha; and her sister Alicia James. She is survived by: her husband Fernando Barrera Sr.; her children, Fernando Barrera Jr. (Elizabeth Barrera), Adriana Barrera and Lucinda Barrera (Dominic Ancona); and her grandchildren, Elisha, Victoria Barrera, Isela, Nicholas and Giovanni Ancona.
