He is survived by: his wife Adelaida Avila; his mother Sulema Parra; his stepfather Ubaldo Parra; his siblings, Isabel Ford, Annabelle Madrid, Jamie Avila, Vanessa Dawson, Bryan Cofer, Christie Valles, Maribel Armendariz, Joe Sauceda, Alfredo Sauceda and Alma Kulenty; his sons, Guadalupe Avila (Amber), Angel Avila, Michael Avila (Mariah) and Leonardo Avila; and his grandchildren, Nayeli and Jayvian Avila.
