With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances D. Smith in Hobbs, New Mexico, born in Winnsboro, Louisiana, who passed away on November 29, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Baird and Eva Baird; and her siblings, Georgia Powell and Bruce Baird. She is survived by: her husband Gentry Smith; her sons, Tim McGlothlin of Hobbs and Wayne McGlothlin (Jill) of Houston, TX; her sister Polly Owens of Hobbs; and her grandchildren, Toby McGlothlin of Washington, Amanda Martinez of Temple, TX and Heather Bubb of Forney, TX. She is also survived by one great-great-grandson, several nephews, nieces and great-great nephews and nieces.
