He was predeceased by: his parents, James Evans and Lottie Evans; his siblings, Jean Henderson, Dean Evans, Kenneth Evans, Leroy Evans and Lloyd Evans; and his sister-in-law Sue Dodd.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Evans; his children, Darrell Evans and Gay Lynn (Matthew Shaffer); and his grandchildren, Brenden Shaffer and Hayden Shaffer. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and many, many friends.
