We are sad to announce that on January 2, 2025, at the age of 40, Edwin Mitchell Jr. (Hobbs, New Mexico) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Edwin shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Edwin farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his parents, Eddie Mitchell and Kerrie Mitchell; his wife Melissa Ferguson; his daughters, Norah Rose and Lyla Grace; and his brother Cody Mitchell.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Taylor Street Church of Christ (216 E Taylor St, Hobbs, NM 88240). A burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:15 PM at the Prairie Haven Memorial Park Cemetery (2201 E Stanolind Rd, Hobbs, NM 88240).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Eunice Youth Sports League.
