It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Mae Bownds of Hobbs, New Mexico, born in Amherst, Texas, who passed away on February 23, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Kelton and Donna Faye Kelton (Woodfin); and her husband Marvin Bownds. She is survived by: her children, Leann Jones (Bownds) of Mountain City, Texas, Michael Bownds (Mendi Bownds) of Hobbs and Stephen Bownds (Mindy Bownds) of Georgetown, Texas; her grandchildren, Jaecob Jones, Jenna Jones and Stevie Bownds; and her siblings, Carrol Wayne Kelton, Aaron "Sonny" Kelton, Sharon Tabor and Karen Kelton Westmoreland. She is also survived by her family and friends.
