He is survived by: his wife Beth Backor; his children, Donna Hicks (David) of Hobbs, NM, Mike Hammer (Christy) of Edmund, OK, Barbie Hammer of Kansas City, MO and Jenni McCracken (Ty) of Melissa, TX; his grandchildren, Kaitlin Moore (Lane) of Phoenix, AZ, Emma Ross (Matthew) of Lubbock, TX, Austin Eckert of Kansas City, MO, Molly McCracken, Chase McCracken of Melissa, TX, Brittany Hammer of Hobbs, NM, Jacob Hammer and Kaleb Hammer of Edmund, OK; his great grandchildren, Wrenley and Rhett Hammer of Edmund, OK; and his siblings, Bobby Hammer, Thomas Hammer and Marilyn Mock.
