He was predeceased by: his sister Evelyn Stevens (Tatum). He is survived by: his wife Jackie McDaniel of Hobbs; his children, Doug McDaniel (Hobbs), Janet Evans (Tim Evans) of Fort Worth, TX and Sherry Longoria (Lay); and his grandchildren, Alexa Evans and Ajay Longoria.

The family suggests any donations in his memory be made to a charity of their choice.
