We bid farewell to Charles J. Hoye (Hobbs, New Mexico), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 12, 2025 at the age of 101. Charles touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Henry Hoye and Annie E. Heilly; his daughter Loretta Barbara; his wife Loretta Ida Ducharme; his siblings, Paul and Margery; and his children, Joseph and Marceline.
He is survived by: his children, Charlie (Terry) and Denis; his caregiver Terry; his son-in-law Jim; his grandsons, Jamie, Eric, Noel and Ray of Arizona; his son-in-law Harry; his grandchildren, Charlore, Peter, Jeffery, Robert of Seattle, Bradley, Christine of Texas, Amanda and Laura; and his daughter-in-law Bernadette of California. He is also survived by four great-granddaughters, three great-grandsons and two great-great grandchildren.
There will be no service for Charlie, in lieu of flowers, just thank the Lord for putting this gentle man on earth.
