It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Neil Pointer of Hobbs, New Mexico, born in Renton, Washington, who passed away on March 26, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon William and Edna Elaine Pointer (Griggs); and his son Billy Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Janice Pointer (Bourn) of Hobbs; his children, Laurie Pellissier (Robert) of Hobbs, Kimberlee Braziel (Teddie) of Brownfield, Timothy Stuber (Michelle) of Lovington, Michelle Tate of Lamesa and Lois McKinney of Louisiana; his siblings, Donnie Martinez, James Pointer of Oregon and Frank Pointer of Oregon; and his friend Danny. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
