He was predeceased by: his son Leland Spalding; his parents, Aubrey Spalding and Joy Spalding; and his siblings, Larry Gene and Linda Clemmer.
He is survived by: his wife Dorcas Spalding; his children, Ranette Spalding, Radeena Spalding and Randall Spalding (Lorenda) of Hobbs, NM.; his grandchildren, Haley Burnett (Trevor) of Cunningham, KY, Alyssa Spalding of Hobbs, NM. and Chance Spalding of Hobbs, NM.; and his siblings, Doug Spalding (Bobbye), James Spalding (Valisa Spalding), Ted Spalding, Polly Houghton (Jearl) of Hamlin, TX. and Joe Spalding (Gaytha) of Cunningham, KY.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
