He was predeceased by: his parents, Claro Sr. Barron and Angelita Barron; and his siblings, Claro Jr., Cruz and Josie Cueller.
He is survived by: his sons, Danny Chavez Jr. (Joye) of Hobbs and Scotty Ray Chavez Sr. (Lisa) of Hobbs; his grandchildren, Paris Chavez, Alexis Padilla, Ryan, Keegan Campbell, Madison and Scotty Jr. Chavez; and his siblings, Angel Barron (Yolanda) of Lamesa, TX, Tony Barron of Hobbs, NM, Mike Barron of Lamesa, Janie Barron of Lamesa and Isabel Reynosa Rio Hondo (Roberto). He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
