He was predeceased by: his parents, Melchor Chavez and Margarita Chavez; his brother Pilar Chavez; and his grandmother Barbara Fuentes. He is survived by: his wife Criselda; his sons, Adolfo Chavez Jr (Michelle), Israel Chavez (Genevieve), Alfred Chavez (Crystal) and Isaac Chavez (Daniella); his siblings, Victor Chavez, Evangelina Lujan, Lourdes Matta, Socorro Martinez, Lorena Chavez and Elva Jaquez; and his pet Daisy. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and a host of other family, friends, numerous nieces and nephews.
