She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel B. Herrera and Celia Herrera; her niece April Turcotte; her in-laws, Benito, Victoria Madrid, Armando Madrid, Alex, Ida Madrid and Cleo Madrid; her nephews, Rudy and Paul Sandoval; and her niece Erline Perez.
She is survived by: her husband Lawrence Madrid; her son Steven Serrano (Claudette); her grandchildren, Zoe and Zachary Serrano; her sister Rose Turcotte (Richard); her nephew Richard Turcotte; her brother Leroy Herrera; her close friend Becky Vigil (Harold); her daughter-in-law Angelica Martinez Serrano (Christopher); and her in-laws, Harold, Edith Madrid, Toby, Jane Madrid, Velma Camargo (Lorenzo), Angie Herrera, Alfred and Tina Madrid. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
