He was predeceased by: his wife Susan Batista (Hernandez); his brother Edwardo Batista; his parents, Pedro Batista and Digna Lopez (Cuba); and his grandsons, Jacob Maestas, Charlie Maestas and Michael Maestas.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Tana Lopez; his sister Magail Batista; and his mother-in-law Elena Gallegos. He is also survived by grandchildren and thirty-five (35) great-grandchildren.
