He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Quesada Grijalva and Maria Luz Roman Grijalva; his daughter Nancy Leah Grijalva; his grandson Anthony Padilla; and his siblings, Luvie Martinez, Helen Moreno, Ofelia Archuleta, Corrine Escarcega, Luz De La O, Frederico "Freddy" and Willie Grijalva.
He is survived by: his wife Hortensia M. Grijalva; his daughters, Rosemary Grijalva-Arzate of Hanover, Martha G. Padilla (Harvey) of Pettus, TX, Annette G. Disert (Dean) of Mimbres and Luvie Grijalva Ochoa (Antonio) of Santa Clara; and his grandchildren, Dustin, Ryan, Alyson, Levi, Luke, Matthew and Antonio. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
