He is survived by: his children, Eliazar, Ernesto (Didia), Enrique, Efren (Marina) and Elva; his grandchildren, Elias, Jacob, Matthew, Joshua, Ethan, Julisa, Jared, Anna, Jazmine, Levi, Ivan, Lee Lu, James, Sophia and Yuna; his great grandchildren, Aliyah and Athena; and his brothers, Javier (Mari), Armando (Josefina), Lorenzo (Leticia) and Arturo (Carol).
