Donald Ray Tyler Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Ray Tyler of Hagerman, New Mexico, who passed away on November 11, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurman Tyler and Goldie Scates-Tyler; his daughter Lisa Carol Tyler; and his siblings, Lou Etta Hignight, Tom Homer Tyler, Earl Alvin Tyler, Harrell Henson Tyler, Callie Bell Herring and Iona Pearl Ketchell.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Edwina Tyler; his daughter Sharina Rae Cureton (David Earl Cureton) of Waco; his grandchildren, Donald John Cureton of Waco, Reanna Rae Cureton (William Blane Onstott) of Waco and Taylor Rae Lilly (Seth Ryan Lilly) of Hagerman; his great grandchildren, Paisley Rae Lilly, McCoy Ryan Lilly and David Cole Onstott; and his siblings, Mary Ann Rogers, Maudie Faye Mahan, Annie May Stroble and Aubrey Tyler. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ's Church (2200 N Sycamore Ave, Roswell, NM 88201).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Christ Church of Roswell, or simply take a moment to share a story and a laugh in his honor.
